The Southeastern Pennsylvania First Suburbs Project is a regional organization of local-elected, faith and civic leaders from older developed suburbs that have joined together to harness their communities' power by directly engaging citizens to affect policies and practices that will lead to the stabilization and revitalization of their communities and the region as a whole.

The Chair of the Board of Trustees is Jacquelynn Puriefoy-Brinkley, former president of the Yeadon Borough Council.  Below is a partial list of institutional members.

Membership Benefits

Member institutions have up to two votes at Steering Committee meetings.
Members can bring up to 20 people for free to First Suburbs Project events (e.g., annual membership meeting, Public Forum).
Members can participate on sub-committees, deliberations, and meetings with legislators and decision makers.
Members receive generous benefits to leadership training for themselves and their constituents.  For instance, the Building One America Leadership Training is $600 for members, as opposed to the full price of $1200 for non-members.

Dues are determined by the size of the institution and range from $375-$1,500
